Since 2019, I have worked with Professor Lisa Dierker and a small team at Wesleyan University to create digital education resources.
Our first project was to create an Intro Psychology class with a flipped classroom. Students use time in class to work on projects. Their projects focused on Psych topics while teaching them practical skills like fundraising, video and audio production, coding, and replicating research studies. This class is now being taught at Wesleyan University and Title I high schools for college credit.
Outside of class, students learn traditional lecture content through these videos we made. I am the narrator, and I filmed, edited, and animated the visuals with a couple collaborators.
After finishing the class, we created a platform called OpenLab for students to share their projects.
